It was worth every second. Holy shit. That final panel works so well on all of these, it’s almost exactly like a jump-cut in a live action show. Great stuff.
Unfortunately about half way through drawing Dr Man-Love Man, I too saw Yongas in him. I’m glad I’m not alone on that, but it does make me question why I drew him like that.
It took me all night, ruined me inside, and made me sacrifice many small animals… but I made it!!
