Angel - Firefly, Firefly - Dollhouse, Buffy -Dollohouse, BSG - True Blood, True Blood - Dollhouse, Topher even said "Frak" in an episode!! Buffy AND Angel AND Firefly were some of the best TV ever. What happened to Joss writing the script to Wonder Woman? There was a 13th episode???!!!! I totally missed that one. Bugger.

And Eliza Dushku just looks tired in that photo. Old and tired. I genuinely love most of the guy's work and hope he does well in the future. But Dollhouse has been a series of awesome ideas looking for a show from day one, and that's no one's fault but the writers. But having said THAT, Buffy is one of the best shows ever. I had some problems with the original Dr Horrible (especially the ending) but overall it was pure geek fun. If he can repeat that success he'll be fine. Hell, he'll probably be fine if it bombs. But my point is that for the longest time Whedon has had this veneer of invincibility about him, with fans constantly saying that anything he worked on that wasn't solid gold was someone else's fault. That is definitely not the case here; FOX gave Dollhouse every chance to succeed, and it didn't. Simple as that. So what he does NEXT is going to be very interesting indeed.
